Top ways to gain XP in New World
- Main Quest The best way to gain XP in New World is to complete the Main Quest as soon as possible. Main Quest gives you the most amount of XP. Do make sure before starting main quests you have a look at the recommended level so that you do not go to a quest whose recommended level is above your current level. The main story varies according to the Territory where you first spawned. There are four territories in which a new player can spawn – Everfall, Windward, First Light, Monarch Bluffs.
- Side Story Quest When you are done with your main quests the second best method to gain XP is doing the Side Story Missions. Some main story quests require the player to be of a certain level this is when Side Stories come in handy. They also provide a lot of XP and vary from territory to territory. Even though they are optional but we would recommend you do them because of the useful items and Equipment the player receives in addition to the XP.
- Town Missions You can go through the Town Missions by having a look at the Town Project Board which is situated in the town in which you are currently staying. Often there are a lot of small missions and they provide a significant amount of XP. Make sure you do the missions which have the highest amount of XP first. In total there are 12 Town Missions, some of them nearly take a minute or two to complete and they provide a good amount of XP.
- Faction Missions Faction Missions are tasks that you can accomplish to gain standing and reputation in your faction. This is a quick way to gain some extra XP. Faction Missions also provide us with Tokens which you can exchange for special rewards which are unique to different factions. If you do Faction Missions you generate influence in the territory of your faction.
- Increase your standing in different territories The recommended level for different territories is different. For Example – Everfall, Firstlight, Monarch Bluff’s and Windsward are fairly low-level territories whereas Reekwater and Shattered Mountain are Level 60 territories. Below is the list of different territories and their recommended levels : Level 5: Everfall, Firstlight, Monarch Bluff’s and Windsward Level 25: Brightwood, Cutlass Keys Level 30: Weaver’s fen Level 40: Great Cleave, Restless Shore Level 45: Mourningdale Level 50: Ebonscale, Edengrove Level 60: Reekwater, Shattered Mountain You should make sure you are not in an under levelled territory which means that you should not stay in Everfall, Firstlight until Level 40. In addition to this, you should also increase your standing in the territory because if you do so it will grant you more XP in Main Quests, Side Quests, Faction Missions and Town Missions.

The amount of XP which you receive upon killing another player depends upon how long the other person was alive.
